Tomato mozzarella salad
for 4 servings:
8 red ripe tomatos
250 g buffalo mozzarella
20-30 basil leaves
balsamico vinegar (optional)

Tomato and mozzarella salad or just simple tomato mozzarella is a dish that is very popular in Germany. Tomato mozzarella salad is served on different occasions from informal family BBQs to state receptions. Now why do you think is tomato mozzarella salad of such great importance for german modern cuisine?
Our opinion so far is: Tomato mozzarella is that liked because of it’s taste and secondly because of it’s simplicity.
Is tomato mozzarella salad also so big in your home country or is it just famous in Europe?
Now how to prepare tomato mozzarella salad ?
Classical preparation:
1. Wash the tomatos, the basil leaves.
2. Cut tomatos and buffalo mozzarella into slices.
3. Place in turn a slice of tomato, a slice of mozzarella then a basil leaf on a plate until all slices and leafes are arranged.
4. Optional drip balsamico vinegar over the tomato mozzarella basil artwork. A-Man: I prefer old vinegar from Modena, Italy. (Mazetti)
5. Enjoy your delicate tomato mozzarella salad.

I do not know why, but most of my friends are not aware of the delicious tomato – mozzarella – basil trio. They work so well in a salad as you show, and also between two slices of nice bread! Homemade mozzarella is the best!

This is a very popular tomato and mozarella here in the U.S. as well-especially, in the summer months when tomatoes and basil are at their peak.
These dishes are proof that to be delicious, it does not have to be complicated. Simple is best.
