Smoked pork chop with broad beans from Germany

    Ingredients for 3-4 servings:

    6 slices of smoked pork chop (1kg)
    enough milk

    450 g broad beans, canned
    about 3 tbsp. flour
    1-2 teasp. dried savory
    2 tbsp. butter

    Preparation:

    1. Preheat the oven on 180 ° C.

    2. Enwrap the slices of smoked pork chop in buttered aluminium foil. Put the package in the oven for about 30 minutes.

    3. Meanwhile take a big pan and make a roux (see section 2) out of butter, flour and milk.

    4. When the roux has a creamy consistency add the drained broad beans, enough salt, enough pepper and let everything simmer for about 7 minutes.

    5. Optional: Serve this dish with boiled potatoes.
