Makes 3 to 4 servings.

Ingredients:

350g ribbon noodles
200ml cream
2 tbsp. tomatoe puree
4 peaches, canned
6 pork cutlets
250 g gouda cheese

Preparation:

  1. Boil the ribbon noodles until they are al dente.

  2. Fill them in an oiled casseole dish.
  3. Flavor the meat with salt and pepper and place it on the noodles.
  4. Cut the peaches in slices and put the slices on top of the meat.
  5. Mix cream, salt, pepper, tomatoe puree, juice of the canned peaches to a sauce and fill it in
    the casserole dish.
  6. Top everything with the cheese.
  7. Put the casserole for about 25-30 minutes in the on 170°C preheated oven.
  8. Enjoy!

    Creative recipe! Did you come up with the idea of adding peaches to a casserole, or is that something common in Germany?

    BTW, congrats on the win last night — I’m not really following the World Cup, but I did see that Germany had an impressive win!

    To use peaches isn’t common in Germany, I guess.
    It was an a quite yummy experiment.
    Next time I have to make better photographies that don’t remind you of things that don’t have something to do with food… :-)

    Thank you for the congratulations. Soccer has a great importance in german culture. In our family for example every boy/man has played soccer. Some of them only like to play but not to watch all games. But this year nearly everyone is watching soccer.

    Is there any sporting event in Israel where the people go crazy like they do here in Germany at the moment?
