German Chocolate and Pear Sponge Cake

Ingredients for 8-12 servings:

220 g margarine (soft)
200 g sugar

5 eggs
60 g natural Yoghurt (0,1%)
200 g flour
30 g dark cocoa, powdered
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 kg pears
3 tbsp. lemon juice
100 g chopped almonds
80 g starch flour

How to open a coconut:

1. Hammer with the big knife on the nutshell. Then rotate the coconut a bit. Hammer on it again and again and let the striking points describe a concentric circle around the coconutshell.

German BBQ Noodle Salad

500 g eliche tricolore noodles
300 g canned corn
2 bellpeppers, (red and yellow or green optional)

500 ml french dressing
3/4 of a cucumber
(optional 15 little radishes)

500 g sweet cherries (canned or fresh)
150 g farina (out of soft wheat)
2 eggs

250 ml milk

0,5 teasp. oil of bitter almonds
1 vanilla pod

60 g butter
125 g sugar
125 g flour
3 tbsp. baking powder

Preparation:

1. Mix sugar, butter, pulp of a vanilla pod, eggs and the oil of bitter almonds in a mixing bowl until the substance becomes a little bit foamy.
