Bell pepper recipe with rice and ground beef

    Ingredients for 3 servings of this bellpepper recipe with rice and ground beef:

    3 midsize red bell peppersBellpepper recipe with rice and ground beef
    400 g ground chuck (ground beef)
    250 g rice grains (dry, peeled, parboiled or not)
    pinch of salt
    pinch of pepper
    1 tbsp. sunflower oil
    1tbsp. tomato puree

    Preperation:

    1. Wash the bell peppers and cut them into thin slices (0,5 mm is ideal).

    2. Start boiling the rice. Oil a pan with the sunflower oil and sear the ground beef.


    3. When the meat is browned add bell pepper slices, tomato puree. Cover it and let the mixture simmer on a low temperature. Adjoin the rice when it is al dente.

    4. Stir the ingredients accurately until the rice becomes light red.

      Great idea !
      Je me prépare souvent du riz avec des poivrons et de l’oignons et une pincée de poudre de curry pour encore plus parfumer le plat. C’est rapide et c’est un plat complet.
