    Ingredients for 3 servings of arugula salad with pears:Arugula Salad with Pears

    250 g fresh arugula aka rocket or roquette
    100 g Gouda Cheese from the Netherlands
    3 sweet midsize pears
    150g fine diced ham

    1 tbsp. fine balsamic vinegar
    1 tbsp. olive oil extra vergine
    juice of a half lemon

    Preparation of this arugula salad recipe:
    1. Wash the arugula leaves, peel and pit the pears then cut them into fine slices. Coat the sliced pears with the lemon juice.

    2. Fry the diced ham in a pan.

    3. Place  a hand full of arugula on a plate and drizzle some vinegar and oil over it. Now place 6 to 8 slices of pear on the arugula leaves.


    4. Top the pear with the fried ham and rasp 30g of gouda cheese over the salad.

    5. Have a nice meal and enjoy your arugula salad with pears.


    Arugula salad can be served with:
    baguette
    sparkling wine
    white wine
